Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy covers every paid programme sold by AnOmics Lab through this website: how to cancel, how much of your fee comes back, the one cost we retain and why, and how the tax on a refund is documented.
1. Cancelling and requesting a refund
Open the registration you received after payment — the link is in your confirmation email and in your account. A paid registration shows Cancel registration and Request refund; both record the moment you asked. That timestamp fixes the refund window; the time we take to review the request does not move it.
You may also write to us through the contact page, quoting your registration number; a request by email takes effect when it reaches us. Every request is reviewed by a person before any money moves, and you are told the outcome either way.
2. Refund windows
Windows are measured in hours before the published start time, against the amount you actually paid.
7 days or more before — full refund
You get the entire balance back: everything you paid, less the gateway cost described in section 3.
Between 2 and 7 days before — half the balance
Half of the balance is returned, in addition to the gateway cost being retained.
Less than 48 hours before, or after the start — no refund
Seats, materials and compute are committed by then. A request that arrives inside those last 48 hours, or after the programme has begun, is recorded as no refund.
3. The one cost we retain
There are exactly two things that can reduce what comes back, and neither is a fee we invented.
- A. Gateway cost — 2.36%, in every window. The gateway's platform fee is 2% of the transaction and GST on that fee is 18%, which comes to 2.36% of what you paid. The gateway does not return it when we refund, so we retain it at cost — nothing is added on top — rounded down to the paisa.
- B. The late-cancellation term — 2 to 7 days only. In that window half of the remaining balance is retained, as stated in section 2. It is a term of your registration, not a processing fee, and it does not apply at 7 days or more.
- Nothing else. No handling charge for reviewing a request, no second gateway fee on the money going back, and no charge at all when we are the ones who cancel.
4. GST, invoices and credit notes
Fees are quoted inclusive of 18% GST, and your tax invoice shows the taxable value and the tax separately. When part of your fee is refunded, the tax on the refunded amount comes back with it, and it is documented by a credit note that references your original invoice.
The tax on the retained gateway cost is not refunded to you: it is our cost of collecting the payment, so the original invoice continues to stand for that amount. The credit note therefore reverses tax only on the money you actually get back. Credit notes are issued under section 34 of the CGST Act, carry our GSTIN, the original invoice reference and the tax reversed, and are declared in the return for the period in which they are issued.
5. How and when the money arrives
A refund goes back to the instrument that paid for it — the same card, UPI ID or bank account. We cannot redirect a refund elsewhere, and once issued it cannot be recalled. Approved refunds normally reach you within 5–7 working days of approval; your bank or UPI provider may take longer to post it. We email the refund reference and the credit note number when the refund is processed.
6. If we cancel or reschedule
If AnOmics Lab cancels a programme, or moves it to a time you cannot attend, you receive a full refund of the amount paid — including the gateway cost, which we absorb when the cancellation is ours. If we cancel within 48 hours of the start, your place is released immediately.
7. When a refund is not available
- A request received less than 48 hours before the start, or after it.
- Non-attendance, late arrival or partial attendance.
- Add-on work already delivered, such as an individual analysis report.
- A request made more than 30 days after the programme ended — our records and the payment gateway's window close after that, so we can no longer process a refund.
8. Contact and disputes
Each refund decision records the policy version it was taken under (2026-11-01.1) and the figures applied, so it can be reviewed exactly as it was made. Write to us through the contact page with your registration number — email is enough — and we reply within two working days. Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank: a refund we can process is faster than a dispute.
9. Changes to this policy
A change applies only to registrations made after it takes effect, never to one already paid for at the old figures. The version recorded on your refund decision is the one that governs it, and it stays on file with that decision.
